Most basketball hoops can be weighted with water or sand (see product information).

Sand is denser than water and heavier.It will make your basketball hoop more stable but harder to move.
Water can also freeze in winter, and will cause the plastic base to split if temperatures are very low.

To avoid accidents or breakage in high winds or storms, we strongly advise you to fold your basketball hoop away.
This is because the wind resistance is high when the hoop is at its maximum height and when the board is large.
Don't take the risk.

If you live somewhere windy, you can also add extra weight to your basketball hoop.

Our maintenance tips:
- Clean the basketball hoop with a damp sponge and soap
- Rinse with clean water

If your hoop has a foam post protector, feel free to store it indoors during the winter to protect it from the cold.

Also protect the basketball hoop with a tarpaulin when it rains or freezes.

Our basketball hoops are designed for private use (with family and friends).

They are in line with the French (No. 96-495 of 4 June 1996) and Portuguese (Decree-Law 100-2003 amended by 82-2004) decrees which are regulatory in nature.

They are not intended for use ("misuse") as demanding as with public and collective access.Community use involves regular on-site testing and is subject to safety approval.
