We have design high bluetooth reception on the BC 500 to avoid cut during the music entertainment. Each product is tested to check the bluetooth connexion. If you still have some issue, check there are nothing which can block the signal. There is some smarphone cases which can create some perturbation. if your phone is in your pocket put the screen not against your body. Your smartphone need to stay close to you 2 at 3 m.
To connect properly your smartphone and your BC 500 you need to follow the instruction below.
Check if the BC 500 has been charged.
Turn on the BC 500 by pressing the button (+) 5 secondes, until you see the light blinking red and blue.
Go in the bluetooth parameter of your smartphone,put on the bluetooth on. The device BC 500 apear in the bluetooth selection . Select the "BC 500 by Shokz".
A message connected or apaired on your smartphone. Put some musique and enjoy the sound.
For the next use, you can only put the bluetooth of your smartphone on and turn on the BC 500 by pressing 3 secondes on the button (+).
If you can't see the BC 500 in the bluetooth selection, there is 1 possibility :
> the BC 500 is already connected to one of your device, please disconnect the bluetooth of all your devices

Buttons :
- Press the (+) button will increase the sound level
- Press the (-) button will decrease the sound level
Button (on the left side close to the speaker on the grey line):
- During a call a short press on button will hang up or answer to the call.
Button (on the left side close to the speaker on the grey line):
- In music mode, 1 short press on the button will play/pause the music
- 2 short press on the button will play the next song
- 3 short press on the button will play the previous song
Once your BC 500 and your phone are paired with each other, just check that bluetooth is activated on your phone. The small bluetooth icon should be visible on the status bar at the very top of the phone screen.
Then turn on your BC 500 and it will connect almost instantly.
The headphone can be cleaned with a soft cloth.

In order to guarantee its waterproofness, the BC500 is not currently repairable.
