First use
Preparing the bag
The roll top closure on the bag must be rolled up at least 3 times to ensure it remains waterproof. To do this, it’s important to ensure any air is removed from the bag beforehand.
Attaching the bag to the cargo cage
It’s important to check that the straps attaching the bag to the cargo cage are the right way up. A tutorial is available in the instruction video below.
Tightening the straps
Remember to tighten the straps as tight as you can so that its contents don't shift around as you ride.
Storage
Store your bag in a clean, dry place. Don’t store any objects on top.
When should you wash your bag?
You should wash your bag every ride.
How to wash your bag
- Remove your bag from the bike.
- Use warm soapy water and a soft tea towel.
- Gently scrub the entire surface of the harness. All encrusted dirt must be removed.
- Dry your bag with a clean cloth (avoid micro-fibre fabrics) and leave it in a dry place. Do not let it dry in the sun.
Repairs
You've made a hole in it
If you have a hole in your bag, use our patches! They will allow you to restore your bag and make it waterproof once again.
