FIRST USE
Setting Up
Step 1: Remove the butt cap from the back of your rod.
Step 2: Take apart each section.
Step 3: Take the top cap off the rod.
Step 4: Assemble all the sections one after the other, paying attention to the alignment marks.

Connecting your line to your Rod.
Connecting your line to your rod is easy.
To do so, check out the following video.
Instructions for Disassembling and Storing a Fishing Rod Kit
Step 1: Remove your line from the line connector.
Step 2: Remove each section from the next until all are removed.
Please note that the tip holder and tip cannot be stored with the rest of the rod as an elastic band connects the 2 parts.
Step 3: Slide each section into the next, paying close attention to the diameter of each. ( Section 4 into section 5 and so on.)
To store the kit, it is important to use elastic protectors.
Step 1/ Remove the tip from the tip holder and insert the elastic protector between the 2 sections.
Make sure that the elastic rests on it properly to avoid damaging it.
Cleaning
- Wipe the entire rod with a wet cloth, making sure that no residue is left on it.
To extend the life of your product, we advise you to store your rod in a sheath in a dry place.

Steps for Replacing a Broken Section.
Step 1 / Identify the broken section and order a new one online or in-store.
To do this, find the product you own in the block below and click on the corresponding tab.
Step 2 / Make sure you've received the right part.
( If the part is not suitable, contact your nearest Decathlon shop. )
Step 3 / Unscrew the rear cap from your rod.
Step 4 / Place the spare part in place of the broken section
