COMPLETE 500 JR

2023

The Complete 500 JR model has a high-quality, FSC-certified 100% Canadian maple deck that has a long-lasting pop. Wide and moderately raised nose and tail. Medium concave. Ideal for skating on streets and curves. 50mm, top-range wheels.

We created this model so that kids aged 8 to 12 can start out skateboarding with a technical board adapted to their height.

Technical details and maintenance:

Adjusting your trucks

To adjust how a truck turns, you need to find your skateboard's kingpin. Tightening the kingpin with a T-tool will make your skateboard more rigid. On the other hand, loosening it will make it more manoeuvrable.
But be careful not to overtighten the hanger as this could damage the surrounding bands.
If you loosen the kingpin too much, you may experience wheel bite. This is when the wheel touches the board while turning, causing it to instantly lock up.

Ensuring the wheels turn well

As with the trucks, use your T-tool to loosen the nut around the axle (at the end of the truck axle) to free the wheel from its nut. Be careful to only loosen it slightly so that the wheel can turn without coming off the truck.

What to do if your board becomes soft

A skateboard deck has a limited lifespan. Natural wear and tear will cause the board to soften and deteriorate with time and repeated impacts. If your board is too worn, we recommend replacing it. To do this, just remove the trucks from your worn board and put them on your new board (with a new grip).

When you skate frequently, it's normal for the board to wear out quickly.
As a reference, if you skate 4 hours per week, we recommend replacing your board about every 3 months.

WHAT TO DO IF YOUR BOARD BECOMES SOFT
The environmental impact

The wood we use is FSC-certified (Forest Stewardship Council). This certification guarantees the forest is managed in a way that preserves the biological diversity and benefits the lives of local populations and workers, all while ensuring its economic viability.

In addition, we use a high-performance water-based glue that is much more environmentally-friendly than epoxy resins.

How we test our products

All our boards are lab-tested. These tests enable us to validate the European standards related to skateboard usage and test the board for wear. These lab tests are complemented by field tests, some measured and others based on tester evaluations, who then put the product to the test.
The result: a tried and tested product.
