Assembling your dropper seat post
Assembly and cable routing will essentially depend on your frame. Our compatible XC (Cross-Country) frames with a dropper seat post are equipped with Internal Routing Access. The cable enters the frame at the steering socket, then passes through the elbow at the bottom bracket, where there is an access hatch. The AM (All-Mountain) frames are all compatible with a dropper seat post and the cable passes directly into the seat post slightly over the bottom bracket.
Note that you'll need a derailleur housing for internal cable routing.
IMPORTANT: it is important to respect the tightening torque of your seat post clamp.
If the torque is too great, the risk is that the dropper seat post will not work, or will work less well, or even worse, that the frame will become fragile and break (particularly with a carbon frame).
