Console

The console isn't lighting up or is pausing after a few seconds

If the console isn't turning on or is pausing after a few seconds, you should be able to resolve the problem with a few easy checks:

1/ Check that the bike is plugged in to the mains and that the socket works.

2/ Check the condition of the cables and connections to your device behind the console and under the stem.

This involves checking that:

- the connectors are fully attached,

- the cables are not crushed / stripped or cut,

- the pins on the connectors are properly aligned.

3/ If those checks don't solve your problem, check that there is a blue light behind the console above the connector, and make a service request further down on this page.

You have an e2 error code on a new device or as soon as you plug it in

You have an E2 error code on a new device or as soon as you plug it in: This is regarding the motor managing resistance, which is improperly calibrated with the console. To fix this problem, just:

- disconnect the device's electrical transformer (leave the other part plugged in),

- wait 5 seconds,

- then plug the transformer back into the device,

- repeat this process 5 times.

The motor turns slightly with each electrical impulse until it is in the proper position.

If the problem persists, perform the checks described in the "You have a randomly occurring E2 error code or an E3 error code" FAQ.

You have a randomly occurring e2 error code or an e3 error code, or the resistance doesn't vary

If you have a randomly occurring E2 error code / an E3 error code, or the resistance doesn't vary, check the condition of the cables and connections to your device behind the console and under the stem.

This involves checking that:

- the connectors are fully attached,

- the cables are not crushed / stripped or cut,

- the pins on the connectors are properly aligned.

If your problem is not solved, please make a service request lower down on this page.

The console is not displaying the right speed or unit of measure

This is a console configuration problem.

If your console is not displaying the right speed: Check that the switch on the back of the console is set to the right type of equipment:

- VM = exercise bike.

- VE = cross trainer.

- RO = rowing machine.

Then push the button to the left of the switch to restart the console.

If your console isn't displaying the right unit of measurement:

1/ If your console is on, push QUIT to turn it off.

2/ Hold down OK for a few seconds to display the unit of measurement.

3/ Choose the correct unit: press + or - to select either km for kilometres/hour or mi for miles/hour.

4/ Press OK to confirm your choice.

The bike makes a noise

I hear squeaking when using my bike

Check that the visible screws are tight enough. If the screws are not tight enough, parts could move and make noise. You also may want to check the stability of your bike.

I hear a clicking noise each time the pedal turns

It is possible that the screws on the pedal and crank are not properly threaded or placed.

To solve the problem, loosen the pedals by two turns, then re-tighten them very hard.
