FIRST USE
How to assemble your rod
To assemble your rod successfully, the rings must be perfectly aligned. This ensures a smooth trajectory for your fishing line, minimising friction and optimising your experience.
How to mount your reel
Unscrew the reel seat (on the rod) so that you can place the reel foot on it, then screw it back on until the reel is locked in position (firmly, without overtightening).
How to clean your rod
To clean your rod properly, you need to dismantle the entire assembly. Then, using a soft cloth soaked in warm water, gently wipe the surface. Once cleaned, leave to air dry before storing. When using at sea, which is what your Ilicium rod is designed for, it is important to pay extra attention to the guides, particularly at the base. This is where corrosion is most likely to set in.
