How to ventilate your camping shower tent

To guarantee optimal drainage during your shower, the design of the floor space has been carefully thought out to remain open, so avoiding water accumulation. This ingenious design aims to prevent puddling and maintain a dry surface. It may be helpful, from time to time, to lift the groundsheet to allow for complete drying and prevent any residual moisture.

In order to effectively ventilate the shower tent, various elements have been built into it. A large zipped side opening allows air to circulate, for optimal ventilation. In addition, a mesh window provides additional ventilation while preventing unwanted insects getting in. Finally, a removable roof lets you regulate natural light inside the tent, providing a more pleasant, comfortable shower experience.

How to look after your camping shower tent

Our camping shower tent has been designed for occasional outdoor use, recommended for up to four weeks per year during your camping adventures.

Prolonged exposure of several weeks to UV rays or humidity can damage the textile section. It's essential to note that this product does not fall into the "garden furniture" category and is not intended to remain outdoors permanently. To ensure your tent lasts as long as possible, it’s important to store it away when not in use.

What level of wind resistance does the camping shower tent offer?

This shower tent has been subjected to rigorous testing in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose every facet of the tent to an even wind intensity. Thanks to meticulous assembly and the use of guy ropes, this nature shower tent can withstand force 7 winds, measured at a speed of 60 km/h.

We strongly recommend that you regularly re-inflate the inflatable hoops during your stay at the campsite, maintaining a pressure of 7 PSI. This will help ensure the stability and resilience of the structure in the face of possible variations in weather conditions.

Looking after your inflatable bathroom

Now let's talk about cleaning! 🧼

The easiest way to look after your bathroom is to scrub it with clean water. If necessary, you can also use soapy water. However, we recommend you limit the use of cleaning products that may damage the canvas.

After that, be sure to rinse your tent well to remove any soap residue. The most practical way to do this is to use a water jet.

Presence of mould 🧽

Get some white vinegar, a sponge or soft brush, and prepare to put in a little effort.

Start by gently applying white vinegar to the mould stains and leave it on for a few moments. Next, use your brush or sponge to scrub the stains. For stubborn stains, adding baking soda may help.

Storage 📦

Is your bathroom completely dry? Is your tent totally dry? It is ready to be stored in its cover and then stored in a dry place at room temperature.

When storing it away, be sure to remove all hoops, including those above the entrance door, as well as the reinforcing clips all around the bathroom. It’s also crucial to close the entrance door securely when storing. Otherwise, it could be too tight the next time you use it.
