The environmental impact of a tent that is thrown away is equivalent to driving over 3 000 km in a car. To limit this impact, Decathlon is committed to making all tents repairable and in perfect condition after repair!

This page is a step-by-step guide on how to repair your tent depending on the problem you have.

All our tents are guaranteed against manufacturing faults. Under guarantee, we will take care of the repair and you can take your tent to your Decathlon store's workshop. When it is no longer guaranteed or if your tent has been damaged through misuse, you can repair it very easily yourself (of have it repaired in the workshop, at your own cost).

Repairing a pole

To change your pole, find which pole is damaged on the following diagram, order the part online or from the workshop and follow the steps in the video.

A tent pole can be:

- in glass fibre and aluminium.In this case it is made from sections and ferrules held together with shock cord.

- an inflatable tube. In this case, it is made from a tube and a cap.

A tent's flysheet is the visible outer part (also known as the "rain fly"). To replace it, follow the video below and buy the part in your store or online.

Tip: you can use tape to repair tears in the flysheet. Depending on its quality, it can last the tent's entire lifespan.~Important : We recommend sticking the tape on the inside of the flysheet, for better bond.
