We firmly believe that the life cycle of a product does not end when it gets damaged. This is why we offer solutions for properly using, maintaining and repairing your product, in order to extend its lifespan.
If you've just bought an isothermal bag, here are a few questions you might be asking yourself.
To keep your food fresh for longer, you can add ice packs to your bag.
When packing your bag, we recommend you put the food that needs to stay cold together at the bottom of the bag.
Finally, to increase the thermal performance of your isothermal backpack, we recommend that you only open it when you need something and close it quickly. This will keep your food fresh for as long as possible.
To insulate the main compartment, we used 20 mm thick polyurethane foam (PU). We tested this cooler in the laboratory in accordance with standard EN 12546-2, at an ambient temperature of 32°C, without ice packs, and filled to half its capacity. It took 11 hours to go from 5°C (the temperature of food coming out of the fridge) to 15°C.
By adding a 1.2 kg ice pack under the same conditions, the time required to go from 5°C to 15°C is 17 hours.
With a capacity of 25 L, it is recommended for four people.
We have divided up and customised your bag to make it easier to organise your picnic food:
→ 1 20L isothermal main compartment
→ 1 4L upper compartment, separate from the food, for putting your personal items (books, wallet, keys, sun cream, etc.). It is ideal for dry foods.
→ 1L zipped front pocket for a book or travel card.
→ From the outside: 2 large and extendable water bottle holders, a strap with a hook for holding other equipment
The inside of the bag is waterproof. Don't worry about food or drink leaking. Just like the condensation generated by ice packs, the water stays at the bottom of the bag.
To make cleaning easier, the waterproof section of the main compartment is white and can be removed thanks to an outer zip.
Just like an ordinary hiking bag, your isothermal backpack has a foam-reinforced waist belt, providing optimum comfort for a day’s outing.
There are two vertical foam pads on the shoulder straps for ventilation and back comfort. The reinforcements on the back are 20 mm thick: (15 mm polyethylene and + 5 mm polyurethane). Where your straps are 15 mm to 18 mm thick (10 mm polyethylene and 5 to 8 mm polyurethane).
2-year guarantee.
We've thought of you by designing spare parts to make your equipment last for longer. All you have to do is replace them, and there's nothing more satisfying than doing things with your own hands. So these parts are perfect for carrying out repairs yourself!

REPAIR A HOLE OR TEAR IN YOUR BACKPACK
If a small hole has formed on the front or bottom of your bag, you can easily repair it by applying a patch or piece of adhesive tape (round shape one or two cm larger than the hole). We advise you to apply it on the inside, but also on the outside.
If the hole is bigger, go to a cobbler and take advantage of his expertise to give your backpack a second life.
