How long is the warranty for your pack?

Your mountaineering backpack is guaranteed for 10 years. This applies in the event of a lack of conformity or hidden defect in the product.

How to you store your backpack

When storing your bag, make sure it is in a dry place, away from direct light (the sun's rays can accelerate absorption of radiation by the bag).

How to wash your mountaineering backpack

Here are the different steps for washing your backpack:

  • Take a soft cleaning brush, dip it in water, add solid soap and gently scrub your bag.
  • Rinse your bag in clean water. Use the brush to remove any remaining soap.
  • Once cleaned, leave your bag to dry on a rack. Once dry, spray the bag with water-repellent re-activator.

Care products for your backpack

How can you repair your bag yourself?

Does your bag have a tear or a broken buckle?
We can offer you quick, low-cost solutions to repair it from the comfort of your own home.

Apply a repair patch

If your bag has a slight tear and you don't have any sewing skills or a sewing machine, you can opt for the repair patch. This patch is stuck to the damaged fabric area.
Here are the steps to follow:

  • Before gluing, clean the part of the bag to which you are going to glue it. Dry this area well after cleaning.
  • If you need to cut the patch, it's best to use rounded corners for a better fit.

Changing a bag buckle

Repairing a bag buckle couldn't be easier...
First, you'll need to buy a replacement buckle in the right size. To find out the size you need, take a ruler and measure the width of the strap that passes through the buckle.
Once you've got your buckle, all you have to do is remove the old one and replace it with the new one, using the video tutorial opposite.

Changing a zip slider

To replace your zip slider, simply follow the steps below:

  1. Measure the width of your zip to determine the width of replacement slider you will need.
  2. Verify the type of zip you have (self-locking or not, invisible zip, plastic zip, spiral zip)
  3. Use pliers to remove your broken zip slider
  4. Unscrew the two parts of your new slider
  5. Place the flat part of the slider on the inside of the zip and the part with the pull on the outside
  6. Then screw the two parts together with the fastener in the centre.
