First adventures with the Easy snowshoes:Our advice

Put on your Easy snowshoes properly

It's important to put on your Easy snowshoes properly to walk safely and calmly on the snow.

Before putting them on:
There is a snowshoe for the left foot (L) and one for the right foot (R), check you have the correct snowshoe on each foot.A quick check:the "rip-tab" straps must be closed outwards.

Adjustment:
Your snowshoes must be properly adjusted to ensure your safety.
1/ Your feet must reach the front end front to optimise shoe support.
2/ The 3 rip-tab straps must be fully tightened.Start by tightening the front strap, then the instep strap and finally the strap at the back of the boot.

Use hiking poles for greater stability!

We strongly recommend that you use a pair of poles for better stability when snowshoeing.Especially if you intend to walk on slopes (uphill, downhill, etc.) or on powder snow where you may sink in more. There are 2 types of basket, choose large baskets so that the poles remain on the surface.

The right footwear for snowshoes!

For snowshoeing, you need warm, waterproof and breathable high hiking boots. Also go for boots with good grip for the areas where you will remove your snowshoes (on the car park for example or if there is not enough snow).
