SUBEA EASYBREATH 500 SURFACE SNORKELLING MASK FOR KIDS (6–10 YEARS)

2017

Welcome to the after-sales service page for your Easybreath Kids' mask.
On this page you can find all our top tips on how to use, maintain and repair your mask.

First use and assembly

For your mask to function properly, always push your hair off your forehead so as not to interfere with the seal of the mask. Please note that beards can also impair the waterproof seal. Put on the mask by positioning your chin first. Once it is in place, adjust the straps by pulling them backwards and not to the sides.

Check your Easybreath mask before each use

Before each use, check your Easybreath, and especially your child's:
- Hold the snorkel in your hand and move it from left to right. The ball should follow the movement without resistance
- Check that the seal is present, in good condition and correctly installed
- Check that all the valves are present, not deformed and are lying flat
- The skirt should fit the mask perfectly
- Never use the mask without the snorkel

What if my mask is fogging up?

If your Easybreath is fogging up around the eyes, we recommend going through the 4 steps listed above, correctly repositioning your mask and checking that your Easybreath is the right size for your face. If the problem persists, do not use the mask and contact your nearest Decathlon store.

Easybreath maintenance

Constantly in contact with salt, sand and whatever else you find in the water at your diving spot, your Easybreath mask needs to be looked after properly.

HOW TO REPAIR YOUR EASYBREATH KIDS' MASK

At the very least, rinse your mask in fresh water after each use to eliminate any residue. It's possible that some grains of sand have gotten into the snorkel, preventing it from slotting in properly. This problem should quickly be fixed with a good rinsing.

Next, if possible, use your fingers to wipe the inside and outside of the lens with soap or washing-up liquid. Lastly, rinse with clean water to remove the cleaning product.

To dry your mask (an important step), you can use a soft towel or even leave it to air dry (away from sunlight and heat).

If you're only using your Easybreath diving mask in the summer season, take care to clean it and store it away properly at the end of the season. This way, you'll prevent bacteria and mould from developing.
