You need about 1 meter of clearance around the table.
For this table, a 3 m x 2 m area is ideal for playing comfortably!
Yes, it's completely possible. Play will be faster and more dynamic, and the ball will be more difficult to control. It actually resembles the Italian style of table football.
The only drawback? The ball makes more noise!
Your table is designed to meet the specific requirements of French-style table football. Both in its look and the way you play.
- look: a wood-coloured frame with rounded corners and metal figures.
- playing style: round handles, cork balls and the pitchThis allows you to block, make lateral passes and stop the ball for controlled, dynamic play. It's an authentic French table football experience ;)
French-style table football stands out by its wooden frame, metal players, a pitch that promotes control and telescopic bars. The type of felt combined with a cork or composite plastic ball enables blocks, lateral passes and ball stoppages that make play both controlled and dynamic.
There are two types of rods in table football: solid or telescopic.
Our team opted to keep telescopic rods for the safety of players (especially children) and because they are specific to French-style table football.
Table football requires you to use your senses, that's why the handles' grip is so important. Our team opted for round handles with non-slip ribbing for a better grip. Even though they require more from your hands and wrists, it will be easier to put power behind your shots.
For the moment, no. But our design teams are working as quickly as possible to create interchangeable long handles for your table football table BF 500.
Playing table football with family and friends will put your table through the ringer. If you want to preserve your table football table's playing qualities over time, you'll need to take good care of it. How?Find our tips below!
The repetitive motion that is unavoidable during games will loosen your screws. We recommend regularly tightening the screws.
Pay special attention to:
- the rod screws
- the screws inside the handles
- the nuts outside the frame: those securing the rods and the legs.
Tighten them with an Allen key and a spanner.
Clean your rods regularly with a cloth to remove dust and dirt.
Every month (more or less depending on your playing intensity) you should oil your rods inside and out with Vaseline.
Move them back and forth to spread the oil and repeat this process on all the other rods.
We do not recommend consuming drinks near the table as spills can stain the felt.
Go over the felt with a vacuum from time to time to remove dust and dirt.
And if there are more stubborn stains, use soapy water and a sponge to remove them.
To clean the table's frame, all you need is a multi-purpose cleaner to remove hand prints and dust.
As far as the feet are concerned, it's generally the same as for the chest of your table football: a multi-purpose cleaner and a cloth. Take the opportunity to check the flatness of your table if it's a table football table with adjustable legs.
