Before your first use, and in order to avoid any fogging, we recommend a number of things to do.
Constantly in contact with salt, sand and any dirt you find in the water in which you dive, your snorkelling mask needs good maintenance.
RINSE
➡️ At the very least, rinse your mask in fresh water after each use to eliminate any residue.
SCRUB
➡️ Then, if possible and before long-term storage, use your fingers to rub the inside and outside of the glass with soap or washing-up liquid.
RINSE
➡️ Third step: the final rinsing with clean water to remove the cleaning product.
DRY
➡️ To dry your mask (an important step), you can use a soft towel or even leave it to air dry (away from sunlight and heat).
STORE
Avoid exposing the mask for too long to the sun’s UV rays, which will eventually damage the silicone and therefore the mask’s effectiveness.
Store your mask in a dry place at room temperature.
