Here are the different tarp shelters:
Wind-resistance:
we test all our tarp living rooms in a wind tunnel on a turntable to expose each side of the living room to the wind. A properly pitched living room with all the guy ropes fitted must remain habitable in wind speeds up to 50 km/h near the ground.
Rain-resistance:
we test our living rooms to inspect their level of waterproofing. The first test is done in the laboratory and performed over 3 hours under 200 litres of water per hour per sqm, equivalent to 200 mm of tropical rain per hour. The second test is carried out by our teams in the field in real conditions. This tarp living area is fitted with a polyurethane-coated polyester flysheet measuring 2,000 mm. It also has seams that have been waterproofed with heat-sealed strips, and a 140 g/sqm polyethylene groundsheet.
The Ti0²-coated fabric has a UPF of 50+.
Important: A large number of UV rays can pass through just a single open door. Protect your skin with sunscreen.
Before storing it, leave your tarp to air-dry then make sure it’s thoroughly dry, including underneath. This will prevent any odours or mould from forming.
Our camping living rooms have been designed for occasional outdoor use (four weeks per year) when camping or in the great outdoors. Continued exposure to UV rays over several weeks can damage the fabric. These products do not fall into the category of "garden furniture" and are not designed to remain outdoors permanently. To guarantee maximum durability of your living room, it’s important to store it when not in use.
Using it correctly
Before pitching your tarp shelter, read the pitching and dismantling instructions. Finally, don’t leave your tarp shelter too exposed to the sun, as UV rays accelerate the wear process.
Cleaning
Do not use cleaning products to wash your living room, but rather clean or soapy water if necessary. Make sure you rinse it well when you've finished.
Drying
It is important to dry your living room thoroughly after cleaning to avoid mould. If you have space at home, set up the entire structure so that it dries more quickly.
Finally, remember to dry the underside of your living room and its cover.
Storing
Store your tarp in a dry place at room temperature.
Choose the model of your living room and find all compatible spare parts so that you can carry out the repairs yourself.
THE FABRIC OF THE TARP LIVING ROOM HAS TORN
Simply apply a patch or adhesive to fill the hole. We advise you to apply them to the interior part of the canvas for better adhesion.
