No, you don't have to. The most important thing is to not store your wing wet, as this could damage it. It can be a good idea to rinse it to remove salt and sand from your wing, but make sure the wing is completely dry before packing it away. Also avoid leaving your wing in direct sunlight on the beach or in your garden to prevent UV damage.
It is recommended to remove sand from your wing after use as it can damage the fabric and stitching. To do so, simply gently brush the surface to remove most of the sand.
Yes, it is recommended to dry your wing after use. If you can't do it straight away, you can do it a few days later. However, it is important not to leave them to dry deflated and hanging by the leading edge handle, as this can move the bladders and cause bulges. It is best to dry them inflated to avoid any risk of twisting.
It is recommended that you regularly check the condition of your wing to prevent damage and to carry out any necessary repairs. Look for tears or small holes and repair them quickly with a self-adhesive Dacron or sail patch. Also check the hook-and-loop fastenings at the strut ends to reduce the risk of the bladders over-inflating and bursting
