Woodbike

Assembly advice

Step 12

The bike is made of untreated wood. After assembling the frame, you can apply oil to the wood.

Step 16

Once the bike is laid down, it's advisable to move the drivetrain block upwards slightly.
This allows you to line up the holes on the wooden structure and the screw threads on the drivetrain block, so you can put the screws in place more easily.

Tightening the screws

Wood is a material that moves. We recommend that you firmly tighten all assembly screws once you've used the bike a few times.

There's a resistance problem

The resistance doesn't vary

The bike's level of resistance can be modified using the knob under the saddle.

Turn the knob a few times to move from minimum to maximum level of resistance.

The bike makes a noise

I hear squeaking when using my bike

Check that the visible screws are tight enough.

- 1/ stem / handlebar connection

- 2/ front foot / stem / main beam connection.

- 3/ under the bike, main beam / saddle beam connection.

- 4/  back foot / main beam connection.

- 5/ saddle knob

- 6/ saddle clamp.

If the screws are not tight enough, parts could move and make noise.

You also may want to check the stability of your bike.

EB 900
I hear a clicking noise each time the pedal turns

It is possible that the screws on the pedal and crank are not properly threaded or placed.

To solve the problem, loosen the pedals by two turns, then re-tighten them very hard.
